In the national economy and national defense construction, the forging industry is an important part of an
indispensable, for a variety of mechanical products and military equipment based on a variety of important
parts. Cars, planes, armored vehicles, missiles and other products that are large or need to load at high
temperature, high pressure work under the parts and components, metal materials are processed by the

Former Secretary-General of Chinese Metalforming Industry Yong Cai said that China has entered the world
forging production producing countries, but in the device structure, level, technical level and forging
products, precision, process level, as compared with foreign countries there are still a little gap.
Experts suggested that Chinese enterprises should improve the existing forging process equipment, the
establishment of a sound quality assurance system to improve the precision, specialization, automated
manufacturing standards to meet the demand for high-volume production.
